Having been left without any more Game of Thrones, I have started to watch The White Princess about Elizabeth of York, married to Henry VII after Bothwell. It’s much less spectacular than G of T but I appreciate the interpretation of history although there is an element of magic which is hardly credible. Less sex and violence, which is comforting. This is the best way to learn history so we must trust our author, Philippa Gregory, has not strayed too far from known facts.
